Our Services
Psychological counseling is a professional support process offered in two formats: individual or group. All counseling services are based on confidentiality and are conducted by specialists.
Individual Psychological Counseling
Individual psychological counseling is a service provided on a one-to-one basis to students seeking psychological support in areas such as academic achievement, adjustment difficulties, close relationships, and career planning. To make an appointment, you may visit the Make an Appointment page, send an e-mail to pdrmerrandevu@hku.edu.tr, or visit our Center in person. If a student cancels their appointment twice without justification, the counseling process will be terminated and the student will need to make a new appointment.
Group Psychological Counseling
Group psychological counseling is provided to student groups of 10–12 participants over approximately 8–10 weeks with the aim of developing interpersonal communication and interaction. This service may also be offered in the form of psycho-educational groups, where students who wish to receive support on predetermined topics (such as academic procrastination, university adjustment, or trauma) come together. For information on when groups will begin, please follow the announcements section of our website. To make an appointment, you may contact us at pdrmerrandevu@hku.edu.tr.
