To plan, implement, and improve the Orientation Program within the scope of the INT 100 Introduction to University Life course, and to prepare the implementation plan for the following academic year.
To administer, analyze, and report the profile study surveys prepared for newly enrolled students.
To increase the Center’s visibility through announcements, orientation activities, training sessions, and seminars directed at students.
To meet students’ requests for individual and group psychological counseling and guidance services through our specialists.
To organize training sessions and seminars conducted by experts on topics beneficial to all students (academic achievement and motivation, procrastination, effective study skills, social relationships).
To prepare thematic brochures on relevant subjects and distribute them to students.
To organize seminars and workshops that contribute to the professional development of teachers and school counselors working in educational institutions in Gaziantep.
To organize workshops that contribute to the academic development of undergraduate and graduate students in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling and Psychology departments.
To refer clients to students in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling and Psychology departments for individual and group counseling practice, and to monitor the process.
To conduct scientific research to investigate students’ needs in the educational-academic, emotional-social, and vocational-career domains.
To research resources and collaborate with relevant institutions and organizations to address students’ needs.
To establish the Center’s social media accounts and promote their widespread use among students.
